I don't know about you, but there's a real hesitance surrounding discussing The Last of Us 2 whatsoever, for fear of running into spoilers.

A handful of major plot beats leaked across the last few months, and sadly, it's resulted in hardly any conversations actually happening around what is otherwise an incredibly exciting game.

Because make no mistake: The Last of Us changed everything.

Yes, it's an immaculate survival horror with impeccable acting and a ballsy ending, but Naughty Dog's 2013 effort elevated the medium of gaming tenfold. Suddenly games were in the Museum of Modern Art, a burgeoning indie scene started exploring scores of new subject matters, and Sony themselves made The Last of Us' hybridised gameplay/story style a first-party signature trait.

The PlayStation brand wouldn't be where it is today, if not for Naughty Dog and The Last of Us, so how the hell do you follow up on such an incredible home run?
