METAL GEAR SOLID: RISING Changes Producers

Yuji Korekado will replace Shigenobu Matsuyama with an announcement coming at the Spike VGA.

We have heard almost nothing about Metal Gear Solid: Rising since the initial trailer hit a couple of years ago at E3 but we do know there will be an announcement about the game at the upcoming Spike VGA (Video Game Awards), and that Hideo Kojima will be making that presentation in person. However, today we learned Metal Gear Solid: Rising is changing producers from Shigenobu Matsuyama to Yuji Korekado. Kojima Productions confirmed this announcement through twitter earlier today; Matsuyama has moved on to a new "division" but that is all the information given. It is unknown how this may affect the development of the game, because honestly we know next to nothing about this game. The game might just have turned into one long infomercial where all you do is slice fruit and vegetables to try and sell swords; which would still be fun with the mechanics they showed off in the trailer. What we do know is Korekado is also working right now on the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and that we will know more on December 10 after the Spike VGA. What would you like to see, a new trailer with a release date or maybe an explanation of where they are taking the game story wise?
