PES 2013 has been officially revealed by Komani with new details of what we can expect from the game, a series of screenshots featuring cover star Cristiano Ronaldo and a new trailer. New features in the game will include PES FullControl, a new addition that will offer players greater control with dribbling and first touches. The function will allow users to trap incoming passes to be more realistic, such as killing a ball's speed, of using the momentum of the pass to bypass defenders. Dribbling will be slower in the title, allowing players to have better close control of the ball. Users will also be able to hold the ball up within a 360-degree circle and have the ability to nutmeg opposing players and run onto loose balls. Shooting has been tweaked. When attacking users will be able to control height, power and pace of their shots, and more control over teammate's runs during one-two passes. Defending has also been modified so defenders have the opportunity to slow down attacks and make a challenge from any angle. PES 2013 will also be more statistical than ever before. Player ID will allow for greater focus on individuals and how they perform in real life, modeled much more on their real life counterparts. Goalkeepers will now benefit from more decision making options. PES European Team leader Jon Murphy said;
"Football is all about making magic happen with skill and precision, and PES 2013 truly encapsulates this. Fresh faces within the development team and some very exciting ideas will breathe new life into the PES series, and we look forward to showing what we can do in the coming months."
Finally the PES AI will be improved upon, making for much more realistic games against the computer. Here's the new trailer, followed by the screenshots; PES 2013 will be released this Autumn (probably around October) for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS2, PSP, Nintendo 3DS and Wii.
