confirmed that the PS Vita will have 20MB download restrictions with the 3G service in North America. This restriction is already present on most 3G phones like the iPhone to prevent people from downloading full movies and games. Sony's Computer Entertainment America senior staff developer support engineer Chris Norden noted that most Vita games will be between 2GB and 4GB. Basically this means people will be unable to download full PS Vita games through the 3G service, you will need to go through the WiFi. Norden also discussed the rumor that the PS Vita had about the same amount of power as the PS3. Here is what he had to say:

"That's not true. That couldn't be true. The things would burst on fire in your hands or something,"
I know this restriction is more or less set up by AT&T, but this just furthers my opinion of why would you even buy the more expensive 3G PS Vita version if you can't download major games? For me there are very few times when I am not around WiFi so I could not justify the extra money for the 3G service. Is there anyone out there who will buy the more expensive 3G version of the PS Vita, or are you like me surrounded by WiFi most of the time.
