PS4: 10 Reasons Why It Will Win The Console War

By Karan Gurnani /

Sony has come a long way since PlayStation 1. Long gone are CD's, pixelated graphics or even wired controllers. And with the recent E3 2013 reveal of the PlayStation 4, it's obvious that Sony's hard work has paid off. Now, I realise that if you are a current Xbox owner or perhaps even a future one, you may think this is just another PlayStation fanboy who's hating on the Xbox. I also realise my author description is not about to help me make my case. In any case though, in all honesty, I have nothing against Microsoft or Xbox One (X1). In fact, when I saw the X1 reveal I admit... I was intrigued. In fact, the only reason why I never owned an Xbox, is because my first console was a PlayStation and I liked staying loyal to them. That, and of course I didn't have enough money to own both of them. Now with that said, I hope you believe me when I say that PS4 is going to win the console war. Not because I love Sony, not because I hate Xbox, but because it is simply, a better gaming console. While Microsoft may be a better entertainment system overall, I honestly feel that this time, Sony's got it right. Also since X1 and PS4 have almost identical specifications hardware wise, when I refer to the console war, I mean it to be between them and not the Wii U (that deserves another article altogether). So without any further ado, here are the top 10 reasons why the PlayStation 4 is going to win the console war.
