Here's some news that's worth getting exited about. Apparently, according to Amazon.com's French site there may or may not be a Ratchet And Clank HD Collection in the works. The listing which appeared briefly on Amazon France showed that such a collection would be coming to the Playstation 3 by May 16th. That's only two and a half month's away. The listing has since been pulled from the site, and seeing as there hasn't been any news before now about this collection it would be safe to assume someone messed up, and will be receiving some sternly worded emails from Sony. However the powers that be weren't quick enough to prevent Eurogamer from grabbing a screenshot as evidence. If it follows the trend of other collections on the market it's pretty safe to say we could be looking to get the first three Ratchet & Clank games together with a nice high definition face lift. Plus trophies. Debuting on the Playstation 2 and since becoming a major household name, Insomniac produced 4 titles before moving on to current generation hardware. We'd probably be getting the original Ratchet & Clank, Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. It would then join the ranks of the growing number of HD collections available on the PS3 along with the God Of War Collection, the Jak & Daxter Collection, and the upcoming Silent Hill HD Collection. I'm excited for this, and you are too, right?
