So while the recently released 1.2 Patch from Bethesda fixed a few problems it rather quickly became apparent that all was not well in the land of Skyrim. Reports on the forums, and various videos on Youtube, have shown us that the recent patch has broken the game a little in the form of resistances not working... and dragons flying backwards. http://youtu.be/cq29UItGspU Over at their blog, Bethesda have acknowledged the issues, while casually poking fun at themselves
This week we released update 1.2 across all platforms, and we€™ll be releasing an incremental update next week. We anticipate it will be up on PC first, and then hit PS3 and Xbox 360 later in the week. Among other things, the update will fix issues like magic resistance not calculating properly and the rare, amazing backwards flying dragon. Once the update is released, we€™ll share the full release notes.
So the good news is that these issues are going to be patched soon. In the same blog Bethesda have stated that they're going to be a little less aggressive with their updates in case it breaks the game as it has done in this case. They have also stated that updates relating to quests and balance issues will be on their way in January.
