South Park: The Fractured But Whole Review - 7 Ups & 3 Downs

The funniest game of the year.

After numerous delays, South Park: The Fractured but Whole is finally out now, and the critical response so far has been exceptionally positive, if slightly below that of 2014's first game, The Stick of Truth.

It's been one hell of a year for games, arguably the best-ever depending on who you talk to, and Matt Stone and Trey Parker's outstanding, outrageously funny sequel certainly ends up near the top of the pack.

It goes without saying that if you loved the first game, you can't miss this one, which refines and enhances a number of the original's most-criticised aspects, even if it doesn't quite reach the same level overall. There's no shame in that, though.

If you're craving something different from the glut of more familiar AAA titles coming down the pike at the moment, there's absolutely no reason not to immerse yourself in this highly entertaining, unforgettable RPG romp...
