Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still annihilating the box office, we unwrapped Star Wars: EVERYTHING for Christmas (seriously, if you need several hundred Kylo Ren mugs my house is basically a retailer), and Star Wars: Battlefront is still looking like a fine addition to the game library, with its multiplayer system proving to be exceedingly fun. The game was released to huge fanfare after months of drooling over a set of immense trailers and teasers. The first impressions were that the gameplay was tremendous, the graphics spectacular, and the Star Wars factor was astounding. In 2016, I still think that's all true. An influx of Christmas gamers means that not only do we have more friends to conquer the galaxy alongside, but there are thousands more metaphorical womp rats to bullseye. Rounding up a handful of friends is the best way to play Battlefront, but there's a lot of fun to be had no matter how many people you're playing alongside. 9. Fighter Squadron
Space Battles didn't find their way into the new Battlefront, but the closest alternative is Fighter Squadron. Take to the skies in a 10 vs. 10 battle with other humans, plus there's an extra 10 AI ships per team to ramp up the chaos. But while it's very tempting to hone your blasters on the human opposition, remember the task at hand. Focus everything you've got on bringing down the transport ships as they rack up 10x the amount of points as a measly human X-Wing bullseye. For an extra boost, make sure you regularly dive low into the centre of the map to scan for power-ups including tokens that can put you in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon or Slave-1.
