Super Smash Bros. Switch is finally coming.

Despite being the best game in the series so far (yes, even over Melee), Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U didn't get the same amount of attention it probably should have, because of how poor the Wii U performed. Like many other Wii U-only releases now getting a second lease on life, it's exciting that Smash for Switch might actually bring the series back into the limelight like never before.

If this Switch version is actually a brand new game (and all signs are pointing to yes at this point) then there are a few things it needs to do before Nintendo go crazy with brand new characters and/or stages. One of the most important things this needs to do is balance its characters.

Even though the Smash developers work very hard to give each character their own weaknesses and strengths, some are just unarguably better than others. To make Smash for Switch the most accessible, fairest and enjoyable of them all, there's a handful of notable heroes and villains that need sorting out.

10. Little Mac

Little Mac may have some of the worst air performance in the entire series, but he more than makes up for it with his extremely powerful basic attacks. His K.O. potential might actually be a little too strong.

The main thing that sets Little Mac apart from other characters in Smash is his ability to store up an almost guaranteed instant knock out move. Although it's hard to hit, if an experienced Little Mac character builds it up, you stand absolutely no chance.

Is there really any need for Little Mac to have this ability? It's extremely cool as part of his moveset and makes sense in regard to the Punch Out! games, but it seems like Sakurai was trying too hard to make Little Mac the most powerful ground character in the game. His basic attacks and combos are already strong enough as it is, he doesn't really need the instant knockout.

At the very least, make Little Mac's basic combos just a little bit less powerful, just so he's a little bit fairer.
