Titanfall 2: Every Multiplayer Map Ranked From Worst To Best

Prepare for campers.

Ignore Titanfall 2's disappointing early sales, because on its own terms, it's one of the best FPS games of the year. The campaign is surprisingly brilliant, and while the multiplayer definitely could've done more to build on the first game, it's still a frantic blast.

So far, fan reaction to TF2's map selection has been divided to say the least so, launching with just nine maps compared to the original game's fifteen (though more will be added with free DLC).

It's fair to say that the multiplayer suite could definitely use a patch to balance a few things out (Map Hack is just ridiculous), and the maps themselves have definitely taken a step back from the very specifically vertical nature of what came before, perhaps to make the game more accessible to new players.

All that said, TF2 still boasts a number of highly entertaining maps, even if there are one or two forgettable ones you'll groan at when they show up.

Here is every Titanfall 2 multiplayer map ranked from worst to best...

9. Complex

This one's had a ton of hate online so far for cramming pilots into small, narrow hallways, which given the game's predominant focus on high-wire movement, just seems incredibly strange. It feels a lot more like a Call of Duty map.

Play this map enough and it becomes incredibly obvious both sides are being funneled towards very specific choke-points, which again seems counter to the variety and options that these maps are supposed to provide.

To make things worse, even when you attempt traversal, there are a lot of jagged areas that may cause you to get caught and therefore ruin your perfect wallrun. Geometrically it just doesn't seem very well thought-out, and the interior bulk of the map feels too small and cluttered for multi-Titan battles.

In short, a mess and the game's worst map for sure.
