Rumors surfaced today that Ubisoft will be the next gaming company to make users have an online pass to play the multiplayer component of their games.

The report indicates that the pass will be called Uplay Passport and will be very similar to the other previously announced online passes from Sony and EA. The first game said to be using the new online Uplay Passport will be Drive: San Francisco. Luckily this won't affect people until Ubisoft uses this pass on game people actually care about like Assassins Creed.
