Konami have released the new E3 trailer for Kojima Productions and Platinum Games' much anticipated Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. You can watch the trailer below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ONT6-8B94Y&feature=player_embedded Essentially Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been started from scratch after Kojima originally shelved the game only for Platinum Games to come to the rescue. Its now gone from being a stealth-action orientated game to a full out action game, as well as the story now taking place after the events of MGS4 in an attempt to broaden the Metal Gear Solid gaming universe. From what we can tell so far, the game is focused on Raidens katana, ninja abilities and bushido code, with a heavy focus on the cutting mechanic. Quite how this will translate to actual gameplay should be interesting to see. More details are expected to be announced at E3 next week and we will cover it all here at What Culture. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released early 2013 and will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We suspect the game may also get a Wii U version somewhere later down the line.
