Just as everyone had forgotten about the Wii U (it's taken less time than...well...actually, when was it revealed?), a new photo has emerged on Twitter demonstrating a new design for its infamous tablet-like controller. A tester for TT Games Tweeted a photo of the new controller, showing an ever so slightly different design. "look we what we have at work!" teased the mystery assailant, showing us that two full sized analogue sticks (compared to the original 3DS like circle pads), a pair of blank square buttons and a new starboard that holds the + and - buttons have crept their way onto the slightly wider slate. Naturally, the photo and subsequent Tweet were pulled, but avid users took plenty of snapshots and have re-upped them, probably to the annoyance of the Japanese juggernaut. The rumours have now begun, with late redesigns, new prototypes and developer exclusive tabs at high interestbut just like every year, E3 will be the big official HEY LOOK AT THIS! moment, so until then, well rely on our own (authentic) imagination.
