Wrestling and video game fans the world over are hotly anticipating the upcoming release of WWE 2K15. With the October 28th release date closing in, more and more information about the game and its features has been released. 2K Games marketing strategy seems to be a bit more of a slow burn than their predecessor, THQ. However, there has been some solid information about the game to come out in the past few weeks. Surely, there will be more information as the release grows near. With the scarce amount of information and details available, hardcore fans of the WWE video game series have been going made, leading to a plethora of rumors and speculation -- most of which are unfounded. There is a new rumor out in the internet ether, however, that may carry some weight and validity. According to a handful of online sources and a multitude of message board posts, WWE 2K15 may be headed to the PC. The game has already been announced for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360. Now, there is speculation that the wrestling simulator may be ported to PCs as well. Some astute internet users have found two separate postings, both of which list the game for a PC release. While, both of these listings are for foreign markets -- Korea and Greece -- and are not confirmation of anything, they are a sign of hope for PC gamers. No official word has been given yet, and theres been no indication from 2K Games that they plan on releasing WWE 2K15 for PCs, but that wont stop the diehard gaming community from hoping. Furthermore, there is some precedence here. 2K Games has made their NBA game series available through Steam since the 2K12 incarnation. Therefore, WWE 2K15 being available for PCs isn't an idea that's completely out of left field. While this all may end up being just a wild search for a needle in a haystack, theres always the possibility that the needle will be found. Do you think WWE 2K15 will be available for PCs, or is this just internet speculation and dreaming? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
