WWE 2K16: 10 Most Anticipated Playable Superstars
When we rip off the plastic, who will we choose first?
On October 27th, the highly anticipated WWE 2K16 will be released. 2K Sports has promised the largest roster ever in a wrestling video game. At least 120 unique playable characters will come from all parts of WWE history including The Golden era, The Attitude era, The Ruthless Aggression era, The PG era, and the stars of today.
Being an annual series, a large part of the excitement and chatter among fans is, who they can't wait to play as when release day comes. Normally this excitement is reserved for new characters who are making their debuts after being created by the CAW community the previous year. WWE 2K14 marked the debut of The Shield and Ultimate Warrior, and last year The Wyatt Family, Sting and NXT characters Sami Zayn and Neville peaked fans interests.
Which brings us to this year. A number of new superstars have been added or reshaped to meet their current looks. In addition, NXT will bring a larger amount of new characters than normal. While the create a character system is stronger than ever, there's nothing like seeing a new character model for the first time.
Furthermore, this year's edition marks the first time a movie character will be selectable to go along with the superstars of WWE and NXT...
10. Seth Rollins
Lets start with the man who currently holds the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Championships, Seth Rollins. He is the top heel in pro wrestling, as the face of The Authority. He cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at Wrestlemania, was the architect and destroyer of The Shield, and is the first man to hold the NXT championship and WWE World Heavyweight title.
Subsequently, he gets booed more than any active superstar on the roster. Despite that, he's arguably the best worker in WWE at the moment. Everything in his arsenal just sounds fun to do in a video game. He's lightning quick, and has moves ranging from The Pedigree, to the Phoenix Splash. For the folks that run away from you, bust out one of his over the top rope flip dives.
Furthermore, this will be Rollins first appearance not in his Shield attire, and it will be great to see the new WWE World Heavyweight title on display.
