WWE 2K17: 10 Desired Wrestlers Who Won't Be In The Game

No chance in hell...

With the WWE video games of today incorporating a roster bigger than any of us could have dreamed of a few short years ago, it's hard to fathom that an in-demand Superstar might not make the cut.

Even though the cast of characters stretched far past the 120 mark in WWE 2K16, we still found ourselves wanting more.

The roster proved to be a point of contention within WWE's Gaming Universe after the Four Horsewomen of Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch were left out, despite all being established names in NXT a long time before the game's release.

In all fairness to 2K and their decision makers, the way they build their rosters has dramatically changed in recent years. It's all about the featured game mode now, as you have to make sure you have all the key figures from that Showcase accounted for. Take last year as an example, who on earth thought Savio Vega would have been included in a WWE game this decade?

We still don't know for sure what WWE 2K17's featured Showcase Mode, although the inclusion of Goldberg as a pre-order bonus might have given us as clear an indication as we've had so far...

Nevertheless, whatever the powers that be decide to go with, there will be a few in demand Superstars who won't make the cut.

Here are 10 wrestlers fans want to be in WWE 2K17, but won't...

10. Mauro Ranallo

Oh Mauro, when will you finally dethrone Michael Cole and give us the commentary we've longed for since the days of Jim Ross?

Given the way that it looks like we'll be getting a 'normal' 'WWE 2K17' rather than the rumoured SmackDown vs. RAW titles returning, the chances of there being more than one commentary team are extremely thin.

And who are WWE going to prefer in a battle of the wrestling voice-boxes? Maggle Cole of course... after all, most of his lines are already recorded which will be a time saver for the developers at 2K.

I hope I'm wrong, I hope that since we're going to get two sets of commentary teams in brand extended real life form of WWE from July 19 that we'll have a choice of two in the game as well.

At this stage, we can all but dream however...
