Although having only being announced in December 2015, Telltale want to have the entire game available by the end of the year. That's a lot of work to do in a year, especially considering there are additional Walking Dead chapters coming, too.

The release plan is one episode a month until the year comes to a close, however Telltale do not want to put quality on the line just to meet a fast distribution plan. Head of communications at Telltale Job Stauffer took to Twitter stating:

Telltale have said Bruce's latest adventures will have a more mature tone similar to The Wolf Among Us, which is great, I'd love to see a more complex Joker get up to some really twisted antics. Let's really push the boundaries of the characters for a truly unforgettable story.

There will also be a combination of action-orientated and detective-based gameplay, which as long as we don't have a to dispose of a giant bomb or win a surfing contest, will be just fine. Episode one of Batman will be released this summer on Xbox One, PS4, PC and iOS and will feature voice acting from Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Renee Montoya and Erin Yvette.
