2012 saw some of the most hotly awaited pop music comebacks in recent years, unfortunately nearly all of these flopped without a trace. I can't be the only one who was heartbroken by No Doubt's #397 chart positioning for their single, Looking Hot (that's an embarrassing 680 sales if you were curious). Let's not even get into Madonna's tanking singles from MDNA or Christina Aguilera's shriveling Lotus. That's not to say that the quality was bad, but perhaps the public just were not interested if your name wasn't Emeli Sandé or Adele. However, 2013 presents us with another batch of much-loved music stars that will hopefully fare better than last year's gang. 15. Justin Timberlake

After taking a near seven year hiatus from the music industry to focus on his questionable acting career, Justin Timberlake surprised many with the unexpected announcement of his brand new album, The 20/20 Experience. Not only did the former 'N Sync star announce his comeback album, but also presented us with single Suit & Tie which became a modest chart success despite mixed fan response. The slightly dated sound of Suit & Tie may have been quite concerning, but fortunately Justin is well and truly back to form with his latest track, Mirrors - a smooth, mid-tempo ballad that is very easy on the ears. With 2012 being the year of such disasters as Psy's Gangnam Style and Flo Rida's Whistle, I'm ecstatic Mr. Timberlake is back to restore the pop world to its former glory.
