Music is an often overlooked element of nerdy fandom. When we consider what our most beloved corners of media are, the style and plot often take precedence over the blood-pumping soundtracks that accompany them.
This is a sad state of affairs, and one that is inherently unfair. So many of our favourite franchises, whether games, film or TV, have been made memorable by their excellent original scores.

Matched with all the intensity of enjoyment and over-the-top style we expect from our favourite nerd musicians, the only real difference is that these artists draw their inspiration from the sagas of history rather than the annals of Middle Earth.
Brothers of Metal are a fighting, drinking, mead-powered metal band in the style of our favourite Scandinavian raiders of yore. With a score of fast moving tracks based around heavy chords and an excellent female vocal lead, their songs are as memorable as they are head-bangingly enjoyable.
Their music videos are just as engaging too, with that healthy balance between violence and comedy that serves heavy metal so well. Clad in some serious cosplay and pillaging some impressive sets, this band is as entertaining to watch as they are to listen to.
With a bevy of songs about drinking, fighting, dying, and drinking again, Brothers of Metal are the perfect backing track for your less than serious hack-and-slash RPGs.
