Stephen King is and always has been many different things to many different people. Some call him the weird guy. Others call him the horror guy. Many more call him a master, or more specifically, the greatest storyteller of our time. To people like me, hes all of these things. Were his constant readers and we refer to him as Uncle Stevie. Its not as if King has gone anywhere or faded from memory but right now it almost feels like some sort of comeback because hes everywhere. Last month, he released another masterpiece in Joyland and hell be publishing his sequel to The Shining in September, called Dr. Sleep. Thats quite the slate for someone approaching retirement age. Hes not done though, is he? CBS has just begun airing the adaptation of his novel, Under The Dome and in case you havent heard, its a big hit. So yeah, Stephen King is huge right now. What weve decided to do here in honor of Uncle Stevies big year is revisit his works. His novels, specifically and pick the ten very best of his extensive and illustrious career. Sit back, turn the lights out and let the creep set in. Countdown to nightmare starts now...
