With Furious 7 hitting cinemas this week, it's an emotional time to be a fan of the series, especially considering the movie's surprisingly strong reviews and general consensus that it provides an affecting, tasteful farewell to the late Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner character. Walker of course lost his life in a November 2013 car accident, sending shockwaves throughout the industry, and it was only in the wake of his untimely death that many facts about the actor's life earned the attention they truly deserved. From his philanthropic efforts away from the camera to a random act of generosity in a Californian jewellery store, as well as various close casting calls and everything in-between, it's pretty likely you haven't seen Paul Walker like this. From his humble beginnings as a child performer to his enormous success in the Fast and the Furious franchise, his career accomplishments speak for themselves, but the abundance of news stories on the man since his death suggest a humble humanist who loved to connect with the great outdoors and help his fellow man.
