Apple€™s big iPhone event is over. The dust has settled and it is time to reflect. Overall the announcements were not all that exciting, not because the products were disappointing but because all the features were leaked ahead of time. It feels very weird to not be surprised, or wowed, at all after an Apple announcement. Is this the finally the sign of things at a post-Steve Apple? I will be getting an iPhone 5, but not until December when my contract is up. The main reason being that I am fully entrenched in the Apple eco-system. Yes, there are things to be desired, but at the end of the day all my toys play well together, doing what I need them to do. Let's be honest, despite rumours that Apple may be somewhat on the ropes since the untimely death of Steve Jobs, the iPhone 5 will sell and it will sell well, and likely will Apple's other new generation of products.
