The fact that the NFL has shunned a 6'3 230lb quarterback with a starting record of 7-4 may not baffle you, but the fact that he led his team to 7 game winning drives including his first playoff game against the defending AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers should make you cringe. Since then he's followed up that stellar upset by spiraling into obscurity quicker than any other QB in NFL history and jettisoned from the league.
No we're not talking about a hot head like Ryan Leaf or scrubs like Tim Couch or JaMarcus Russell; this is the plight of Timothy Tebow. His three releases in just as many years without taking any quality snaps have some people calling it foul.
His critics say he can't throw and his admirers believe he can prove them wrong, but regardless of what you think Tim Tebow would be an upgrade for several NFL teams even if they're too part of the conspiracy known simply as "Tebowgate". Could it be Tebow Time again?
