Lewis Hamilton. A man who many love and few hate. For me personally, I think he is a disgrace of a human being. His attitude off the track says to me that this man is arrogant, obnoxious and above all, thinks he is above the rest. His impressive results at McLaren were ruined by his rebellious actions which resulted in some vital team data being leaked to the public. This says to me that Hamilton is not a team player; far from it in fact. He is someone who only has 3 important things in his life; Nicole, Roscoe (A dog, I hasten to add) and Himself. Hamilton's lack of awareness when mentioning a racial comment at the Monnoco Grand Prix in 2011 caused outrage and controversy, sparking thousands of complaints to the BBC. That's not to say I am a big admirer of his talent. Hamilton has shown on countless occasions that he is the quickest driver out there and he rightfully deserves this title. He has the ability to get into any car and beat his team mate with relative ease. This is impressive and I do not question his drive and ambition to be the very best in Formula One. So is Hamilton loved or hated? The general feel among the British public is that Hamilton is loved. He is the saviour of British drivers and will continue to do so for many years, until another arrogant, selfish driver graces the sport. But for what? Jenson Button, Paul Di Resta and Max Chilton are the remaining British drivers in the sport and none of them are flash in their personal lives, don't cause controversy away from the track and remain sensible human beings when focusing on their jobs. Now, I predict a number of Hamilton Number One Fans will be outraged by this article, mortified at how someone can insult their hero and complain endlessly about how actually, he is a good man and he is his own person. Let's make it clear, Hamilton is a brilliant driver. But he could be incredible... If he had the right attitude and kept personal life away from the track, Lewis Hamilton could be easily the best driver ever to grace Formula One. However, until his attitude changes, he will still remain the same old Lewis...Quick, but almost impossible to like. James Holder www.twitter.com/thejamesholder1
