Sir Alex Ferguson Voices Concern Over QPR's Impossible Mission
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted all his side can do is win their last game at Sunderland and “hope something stupid happens with City”.
We can only do our best and try to win the match and hope something stupid happens with City," said Ferguson.Ferguson has made it publicly known that he supports his former Red Devil and the current QPR boss Mark Hughes to fight all the way, especially after Manchester City treat him terrible. Mark Hughes managed Manchester City in the 2008-2009 season, but was sacked (due to the terrible form of the team) on 19th December 2009 and was replaced by the current City manager Roberto Mancini. Even though Manchester United are hoping that QPR will get a point at the Eithad this weekend, Fergie has made it clear to the media it is about the treatment of Mark Hughes as well as the title.
The way he was sacked was terrible. That was the general opinion by everyone. I think his wife knew before him.If Sir Alexs team win this weekend, he will need QPR get a point in order for Manchester United to lift the title. Although Ferguson is hoping for his team he is suggesting he wants Hughes to do for himself as well.
