Legal dramas are everywhere on the silver screen today - there's more lawyers and courthouses actually being shown on TV than there may actually be in real life (I think...) but luckily, there's a whole spectrum of them to gorge ourselves til the point where we think we can conduct our own legal defences (not that we'd ever need them of course). One of the best out there is The Good Wife, a four-year-running CBS show that is all about the tribulations of a white female lawyer (played by ER alumn Julianna Marguiles). Don't get me wrong, that initial statement makes it sound like a dozen or so shows (looking at you Ally McBeal) but to say that it's a show that stands on its own two feet and has such strength and solidity as a show that other legal shows seem like child's play compared to the show. Unfortunately, not a lot of people actually watch it - or really discuss it on the Internet or in person, which is a shame because a) it's amazing. No other reasons - it's brilliant. However, if you're not willing to give Alicia Florrick (Marguiles) and Good Wife a shot, here are five reasons why you really should be watching the best show on network television...
