One thing I am absolutely sure I know about love is that it's particularly well known for causing a world of hurt to anyone that manages to fall under its spell. It's a kind of pain that's been expressed in countless forms of media. In the most commercialized parts of the world, it becomes especially pronounced every February 14th. Every so often, Popular Culture will bless us with a character whom totally gets off on that kind of thing (phrasing). You'd think that within a fictional universe like Archer's one that's filled with self-centered, sexually obsessed characters prone to commit acts of senseless violence, that the love life of the comically masochistic secretary/heiress Cheryl (Carol?) Tunt would thrive. Alas, the men of Archer have all proven to be, well... total duds. Despite Cyril's sexual addiction, Archer's casual attitude towards her (ranging from malice to indifference), Barry being a homicidal cyborg and Dr. Kreiger being... well, Dr. Kreiger, none of them have really been able to keep a hold on Ms. Tunt's affections. Although, to be fair, it wasn't always entirely their fault. Still, my inner pervert compels me to feel a little sorry for Cheryl when she has to resort to jumping an FBI Agent with a tazer just to get a bit of a thrill. Why beg for it (phrasing) when there are plenty of other fictional characters that would gladly crack the whip on a lady as lovely as her? So, in the spirit of the season, I have taken it upon myself to play the role of the old gypsy lady and gaze into my pop culture crystal ball to help find Cheryl some choice sages of schadenfreude. Characters whose hands may not snugly fit into the gloves of sadism, but ones that certainly, despite their rough natures, could dominate the heart and mind of Cheryl Tunt as easily as the hearts and minds of the general public. Here are 5 Sadistic Fictional Characters That Archer's Cheryl Tunt Could Chose To Be Her Valentine...
