After last weeks bombshell that Damien Darhk had managed to nab Olivers secret son, William, Taken saw Team Arrow partake in a mission to rescue the youngster and take down the nefarious Darhk for good. Given the task at hand, and the ridiculously-impressive powers of DD, the Emerald Archer decides to call in some back-up in the form of Vixen, a comic book heroine herself and somebody who already has her own CW animated show that is set in the same world as Arrow, The Flash, and DCs Legends of Tomorrow. But with the topic of the day being the rescue of William, that in turn means that Olivers dirty little secret is now out of the bag, which causes some issues between Ollie and his wife-to-be, Felicity. In another great outing for The CWs Master Bowman show, Taken was crammed full of plenty of shocking, surprising or outright random WTF moments.
18. Walking Already?
Season 3 of Arrow was pretty damn impressive, although one of the few gripes that fans had with it was how Oliver Queen was killed at the hands (or should that be blade?) of Ras al Ghul during the shows mid-season finale only to be alive and (relatively) well by the mid-season premiere. As Taken opens, following on from Curtis Holts magical chip last week, we see Felicity Smoak starting on the road to getting the use of her legs back. Now whilst nobody wants to see Felicity suffering, it still felt WTF to have the idea of her walking already come up so soon. Surely this is something that should be at least fairly permanent before Arrows resident tech geek gets the use of her legs back down the line in a year or 2. After all, it's only been six episodes that Felicity has been wheelchair-bound for.
