Arrowverse Crossover: 11 Best Moments From Arrow's 100th Episode 'Invasion!'

Arrow reaches its century, and celebrates the previous 99 episodes in considerable style.

Arrow's Invasion had a heck of a lot to accomplish. After the brilliant setup on The Flash, it had to serve as the middle part of The CW's epic three night, four-way crossover. It also had to be a successful Arrow episode, but not just any regular instalment: this was, remarkably, the 100th of the series.

It's a great achievement for Arrow to reach this far - even if the quality throughout those 100 episodes has been very uneven at best between the first and second 50. Wisely, they choose to focus on celebrating the milestone and paying homage to the past, fitting in the crossover around it.

It's a decision that really pays off. As a crossover episode, it's pretty good, if not as fun and comic book-y as The Flash's. But as Arrow's 100th episode, it's up there with the very best of the entire series.

It has everything required from it: strong drama, an emotional core, almost all the key players (alive and dead) get a nice moment, and of course plenty of kick-ass action.

11. Cisco And Team Arrow

The overall subplot involving Cisco working with Team Arrow wasn't all that interesting - the villain was particularly unmemorable and ultimately felt pointless - but it did give us a couple of fun moments.

This was where the crossover spirit really continued, and the first spark of that was Cisco coming in to work with Team Arrow.

Having spent most of The Flash episode still dealing with his resentment towards Barry (understandably so), being on Arrow frees him up to get back to his old self. He works particularly well with Felicity, but also has a couple of strong moments with both Wild Dog (the way he says "hi" when the vigilante is glaring at him) and Curtis ("your tech guy references movies? How original.").
