The streaming service have revealed that the show will return for another 12 episode instalment on 22 July this year, and to go with that they've put together an announcement video that sees BoJack telling critics to "eat a flat butt."

Following on from last year, which saw BoJack promising to turn his life around, Netflix have released a synopsis for the upcoming season:

"BoJack is grappling with his legacy while trudging through an increasingly turbulent Oscar campaign for his star-making turn in the Secretariat biopic. BoJack struggles with how hell ultimately be remembered by his fans and what lasting impact hes made on those closest to him. Also, there are lots of silly puns and talking animal jokes and celebrity cameos and all the other stuff that everybody loves about BoJack Horseman. Its a very funny and good season of television. Dont worry.

Worried is one thing we shouldn't be when it comes to BoJack. The series, which features Will Arnett in the title role, as well as the voices of the likes of Aaron Paul and Alison Brie, has become another critical hit for Netflix, picking up after a mixed-reception to the first half of its debut season. It stands as one of their funniest original series, but also one that tackles topics such as celebrity and depression in a way few other shows dare to.
