Comic Con 2012: Browncoat's Descend on Firefly Reunion
The crew of Serenity reunite for one night only at San Diego Comic Con 2012.
When I see you guys, I dont think the shows off the air. I dont think theres a show. I think thats what the world is like. I think theres spaceships. I think theres horses. The story is alive.

Former ship captain Nathan Fillion added: When Firefly died, I thought it was the worst thing that could possibly happen. And what I realize now, 10 years later, looking out over this room, is that the worst thing that could have happened is if it had stayed dead.
The show was cancelled in 2002 by Fox after only a single series, thus cementing its reputation as an all time cult classic. An action packed, equally awesome feature length movie was released a few years later but no sequel has followed and talk of bringing the show back has long since died down. Sadly neither the series nor the movie had sufficient support first time round to prevent the death of the franchise. A comic book series, set several years after Serenity is in the pipeworks and will no doubt sell extremely well. You can watch the entire panel from SDCC, below:
