Damon Lindelof Says 'Lost' Is Likely To Return
"I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost".
"It's been two years and we told the story we wanted to tell," Lindelof said.However he added;
"I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost but I'm not going to have any involvement."Speaking as if he was aware of something being in the works, Lindelof said that he would be happy for a new production team to oversee a new continuation;
"It would be hypocritical for me to say I'm going to Star Trek but I don't want anyone to touch Lost," he said.Doesn't that sound to you like Lindelof has heard of plans to revive the universe in some form? One particular idea I always liked was creating a buddy cop show out of Josh Holloway's James "Sawyer" Ford and Ken Leung's character Miles from the "alternative" universe seen in the final season of Lost. They had a great dynamic in a "Miami Vice" kind of way and executing that kind of light-hearted police procedual could allow sci-fi and Lost-like weirdness to be crept in to make it fresh and also bring in other characters from the Lost universe as cameos. Though that idea is for a fairly modest show. I imagine if Lost was to return, something Island based would be probable. Would you like to see Lost return and how would you like it to play out?
