Foggy Nelson Will Reportedly Appear In Marvel's The Defenders
Avocados at Law, reunited!
We're still probably well over a year away from The Defenders hitting our Netflix accounts, but the details of the series are gradually starting to come together now.
While we've always known that the show would bring together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, and the recent Comic-Con teaser suggested they'd be uniting to fight the hand, there are now reports of another familiar face joining the cast: Foggy Nelson.
Reported by /Film, although with some caution advised, actor Elden Henson has revealed that he'll be appearing in the show. The site itself advises taking it with a pinch of salt, since it comes from a fan claiming to have met Henson at London Comic-Con, and the actor reportedly confirmed the news in person.
That said, it makes a lot of sense. With the heroes teaming up, it seems fitting that the major supporting players from each series would be brought into things, even just for small parts (Henson didn't know how big a role he'd have). Will Foggy ending Daredevil Season 2 meeting up with Jessica Jones lawyer Jeri Hogarth, he could be set to appear in multiple Netflix series, and that certainly sets him up for a role in The Defenders.
It follows on from recent comments about the Punisher possibly appearing on the show, with Netflix's Ted Sarandos saying "stay tuned." It looks like it'll be bigger than just the four main heroes.
Are you excited by the news of Foggy in The Defenders, or would you rather he didn't show up? Let us know in the comments.
