Due to winter finally arriving in Westeros, the producers are having to change their shooting schedule, and we're not going to get to see it 'til summer (and even when we do, there'll be fewer episodes).

Thankfully, Season 6 was utterly brilliant, and there's still a hell of a lot to look back on. Heck, just the finale alone had enough packed into it to go on and on and on about, but the year as a whole was one of the show's best, and a storming return to form after a troubled fifth season.

It was big on the fan-service, with epic moments, character reunions, plenty of resurrections, and the good guys generally being on the winning side. It also confirmed a number of fan theories, including the biggest in the history of A Song of Ice and Fire. At the same time, though, it spent part of the season building up to others, only to bring hopes crashing down.

These are the fan theories made canon by Season 6, and those that were burnt by wildfire.
