After 67 episodes across seven seasons, with more deaths, twists, shocks, and nudity than you could possibly remember, Game of Thrones is coming to an end. One season, comprised of six episodes, is all that remains of the biggest TV show in the world.

HBO have understandably been rather secretive surrounding the final season, with just one trailer released so far ahead of the premiere on April 14, but there are still a few things we know are going to happen: Daenerys and Jon are going to arrive back at Winterfell, there's going to be an epic battle between the living and the dead, it'll be painful, emotional, and in some way, shape, or form, it's all going to end.

Anything else is speculation, but based on the direction Season 7 went in, and what we know of the story in a broader sense, we can make a few guesses and even more wishes. This is bringing to an end tens of hours of storytelling from the past decade, and there's a lot the show must do in its eighth and final season in order to go out on a high.
