The youngest Malfoy becomes a series regular.

Looks like The Flash season 3 has a new secondary villain character, as Tom Felton - best known (forever, no doubt) as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series - is joining as a CSI with suspicions over Barry Allen's true identity.

It's not yet confirmed that his Central City Police employee is actually an adversary for Allen, but it makes sense. Most superheroes have their everyday opponents who pick away at their secret identities as well as the supervillains it adds depth and a new dimension, even if it's a bit of a cliche.

Felton's new character seems to match up with the new casting breakdown that describes the newcomer as "Barry’s slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary, a guy who is as smart as he is intuitive. As such, this newcomer doesn’t buy Barry’s nice guy routine and sets out to learn what he’s hiding — all while concealing some secrets of his own."

So is he a superhero too? A villain? A wizard, Harry?

Felton has done well outside of the Potter franchise - particularly when playing murkier characters - and he's an asset to add to the series. If he can be the Malfoy to Allen's Potter, it's going to be an interesting dynamic.
