Mad Men's Big Reveal: Don Draper Has Left the Building (Or At Least Is Headed For The Door)

The current Mad Men season may be drawing to a close but that hasn't stopped the conspiracy theorists from, well, theorizing. Whether it's the impending death of Megan Draper or Peggy discovering Bob Benson's role in the Kennedy Assassination, someone out there thinks they've got it all figured out. That isn't to say all of these theories are crazy; on the contrary, some are quite brilliant. Take mine (or my friend's if I'm wrong): Season six has already happened and what we are witnessing is a flashback. Here's how we know...

The Lost Prophet

One of our first clues comes via Don's introduction to Randall Welch (Lost's William Mapother) in "The Flood". Spotting a potential client in the insurance man Don suggests they meet. Instead he receives this rather cryptic response: "We€™ve already met. In fact I€™m pretty sure we€™ve had this meeting already too and it went well.€ Either Mapother is still time traveling with the others or we are witnessing some pretty ingenious foreshadowing. The truth is it's both (although in Mad Men's more grounded universe the time travel relies more on metaphor than meteor).
