The first two seasons of the show were as good as anything modern-day TV has had to offer. From the stunning initial break, to the heart-pounding chase for total freedom. The final two years couldn't quite capture the initial magic, but there were still plenty of incredible moments that offer great hope for the return.
In the SEVEN years since the show ended, Prison Break almost seems to have grown better with age. The characters' reputations have grown to cult-hero status, and almost all of them are coming back for a big shot at resurrecting the series...and Michael Scofield... 12. The Gang Are Back Together
Michael Scofield, Lincoln Burrows, Sara Tancredi, Fernando Sucre, T-Bag, C-Note, Paul Kellerman and their respective actors/actresses have all been officially confirmed for Prison Break Season 5.
That in itself is a massive boost for the show, with almost every major player reprising their role. Of course, this raises huge questions over Michael's 'death' in the previous finale, but quite simply, it wouldn't work without the main man.
Only one piece of the puzzle remains: Is William Fichtner going to appear as Alexander Mahone? He hasn't been confirmed, but as a true fan-favourite, it would be a shame to see Prison Break return without his presence.
