Team Flash's never-ending mission to defeat Cicada took a more, well, never-ending approach in this week's intentionally repetitive adventure, as Nora West-Allen found herself with a seemingly impossible task.

After failing to save Iris, and accidentally causing the death of Killer Frost, Nora traveled back in time to save her extended family. This would unwittingly kick-start a time-loop for the young speedster as she was unable to stop the metahuman-slaying Cicada from continually killing a different Team Flash member each time she traveled back. Meanwhile, Cisco attempted to take Ralph's advice to help him impress his date (yeah, because that was totally going to work) and Barry took the newly-synthesized metahuman cure into the Speed Force to perfect it.

Nevertheless, it proved to be a fun adventure that played with elements we haven't seen featured on the show in quite some time.

First, the positives...
