Ever since Nora West-Allen first made her presence felt on The Flash, it was clear that she was hiding something. Though we would eventually discover that she had teamed with the imprisoned archenemy of her father, Eobard Thawne, she decided against revealing the truth to Team Flash, knowing very well the ramifications that such a confession could have. Despite all that, the truth finally came out this week.

'Time Bomb' primarily focused on the aftermath of last week's installment, as the members of Team Flash set out to locate the brand new Cicada (an adult version of Grace Gibbons), and figure out how exactly she travelled through time to confront them. However, the unexpected arrival threw a massive kink in the Reverse-Flash's plans and, as a result, he suggested that Nora finally open up to her parents about their partnership. This prompted a poignant story about the role that secrets play in any relationship and how they can ultimately destroy them.

The heavily-anticipated 'Time Bomb' finally prioritised both threads of the main narrative, obliterating the status quo that the show had set in place at the beginning of the season with two genuine shocks that set the stage for a new, better, chapter in this Cicada saga.

First, the positives.
