Negan has arrived. The Season 6 finale promises to bring nothing but a ripe abundance of heartache, death and total destruction, but millions will still tune in fully expecting their day to be ruined.
The finale is set to be a bumper-size bonanza of blood after the 90-minute run-time (including adverts) was confirmed, and with so many questions left unanswered, the writers will need to use every shred of time at their disposal.
Fans have been left on multiple cliffhangers throughout the season, but now is the time for blunt answers. Of course the audience wants to see high-octane drama, but the story must come first. Will The Walking Dead answer these nagging questions before the credits roll?
12. Is Daryl Alive?
Stop everything. Before the show goes any further, fans must know what really happened to their hero, Daryl. Dwight shot him at point-blank range, followed by a conveniently placed blood splatter on the screen to cover his fate.
Freeze-frame footage shows the gun aiming wide of Daryl's head, so while it was safe to assume they wouldn't kill him that instantly, there's some hard evidence to suggest he's still alive.
But even if he took a bullet to the shoulder, for example, medical attention will be sorely needed. Daryl isn't safe yet, but his fate must be confirmed during the opening scenes.
