The Walking Dead Season 7 Finale: 10 Things That Should Happen
War is coming.
Get ready for All Out War.
After what has felt, at times, like a long, painful, and painfully long season of The Walking Dead, everything is about to come to a potentially explosive climax.
The last 15 episodes have all been so that the show could arrive at this point: Rick allied together with numerous different factions from the many (surprisingly close) communities, and about to embark in major conflict with Negan and the Saviours.
Of course, while this is the season finale, typically the big episode that caps off a season-long arc, The First Day of the Rest of Your Life is slightly different, as it's still largely preamble for what's to come. While it will cap off the build to war, it's effectively setting the stage for that story to play out in Season 8.
Even with that in mind, though, there's a lot the finale needs to cover before we get there. There are plenty of loose threads to tie up before we really get into the action, and while it may be time to stop talking about war and start actually fighting one, the show needs to make a few more moves to really set that up.
