Twitter's 20 Best #TrueDetectiveSeason2 Suggestions

Troy and Abed solving murders! (Must be said in their sing-song voice, and there should be a handshake afterwards).

If you've been anywhere on the internet in the last month you may have noticed that a lot of people are obsessing over True Detective; analyzing episodes, wildly coming up with theories, and raving about the show's two leads. The show may only be five episodes in but some are already calling it "the next Breaking Bad," and though it may be too early to tell if such a claim is valid, it's nice to have yet another show to get excited about week to week. Series creator Nic Pizzolatto has decided to give the show an anthology format, meaning each season will tell its own story with new locations, crimes, and most importantly, new cast members. Fans who are impressed with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson's performances were at first disappointed that they wouldn't be returning, but then took matters into their own hands. On Thursday they took over Twitter with the hashtag #TrueDetectiveSeason2, suggesting their own out-of-the-box dynamic duos to headline the acclaimed series' sophomore season. There are hundreds, if not thousands of tweets, but we've found twenty of the funniest and wackiest choices, some of which would actually be pretty great.

19. Captain Kirk And Captain Picard
