Season 4 is without doubt the finest of The Walking Dead yet. Granted, the flu may have dragged on just a little, but the mid season finale 'Too Far Gone' more than made up for it, producing one of the greatest if not the greatest episode the show has managed so far. In the second half of the season we were in for a treat. We got some excellent character development for a lot of characters who needed it, as well as some backstory for characters, especially Michonne, where we gained some great insight into what made her tick. And the finale sure didn't let up, and produced easily the most tense moment from the series so far, and certainly one of the greatest. One of the stand out things from this season was the introduction of a few new characters, who left a huge impact on the show. Some still around, some aren't so. We met some of these characters €“ some of whom were imported from Woodbury, a couple on the road, and also a couple from the marvellous Governor-only episodes towards the end of the first half season. So here, we run down the 10 best characters who were introduced in Season 4.
