Breaking Bad may seem long gone, but it's legacy is one of pure drama, golden television, and among the swathes of death, drugs, corruption and despair, there's even a surprising gap for humour. Albuquerque and the whole world AMC created around it feels like the next location for the a Grand Theft Auto game, with a whole range of characters like Saul or Tuco fitting the (crazy) bill, and a definite air of the dark, twisted humour that made Rockstar's mega franchise so successful. It's certainly not a laugh-a-minute show, but that's why the rare piece of wit is projected to become even more entertaining. It's desperately needed to keep us from sitting alone in a darkened room for hours after each episode thoroughly depressed, because let's face it, there's not a whole lot to be joyful about.
