10 Awesome Wrestling Things To Be Thankful For Right Now

In celebration of Thanksgiving, WWE and AEW fans have much to be thankful for right now.

Thanksgiving in the world of professional wrestling is typically time for WWE Survivor Series, remembering how bad The Gobbledy Gooker was, and prepping for AEW Full Gear. Outside of that wrestling bubble, it is a time to reflect and have gratitude for for the blessings you've received.

Why not apply that to professional wrestling, too?

After all, despite all the controversies, frustrating booking, questionable angles, and total duds we watch on a monthly basis that we all wish would be better and armchair book alternatives to, there always remains enough positives that keeps us fans tuning in week in and week out.

Instead of always harping on the negatives, let's focus in on the amazing things going on specifically right now in the world of pro wrestling that are worth being thankful for and giving praise to.

Be it breakout stars on the rise, temporary story arcs, company-wide angles stretching on for months, improvements to the infrastructure - or even just an overall increase in quality - here are 10 things worth celebrating going on at the moment in WWE and AEW that fans can be thankful for.

10. WWE Women's United States Championship

Earlier this year, WWE added a midcard women's title to NXT with the NXT Women's North American Championship.

A few months later, it's clear how beneficial that has been to the women's division, as it gave Kelani Jordan something to put her on the map and appears to be doing the same for Fatal Influence's Fallon Henley. Without that prize to fight for, both would have been on the sidelines waiting for Roxanne Perez to drop the only other title on the roster.

The more opportunities for the women's division to showcase its talent and grow, the better for women's wrestling in general. Now that SmackDown has the WWE Women's United States Championship, it already looks as though virtually anyone who wins will be a positive.

Bayley and Naomi are former world champions who won't likely win the top title any time soon, so this gives them something to do. Chelsea Green and Michin might never get that opportunity, but could hold this belt and use it as a springboard to more gold in the future. This could even be the reason why Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill split, if they end up at odds with one another.

A champion hasn't even been crowned, and this is already one of the best things WWE's done this whole year.
