10 Big Questions From WWE RAW (July 27)

Why doesn't Sasha Banks bring her NXT title to the ring?

Anyone tuning into Monday Night RAW last night hoping to see the fallout from the brawl between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar would have been left disappointed, as neither the Deadman nor The Beast Incarnate made an appearance (nor, indeed, the Walrus, Paul Heyman).

In truth, last night was one of those rare occasions when the limited dates WWE are able to squeeze out of Lesnar and an ageing Phenom coincided with their absences kind of making sense. After such a hellacious punch-up last week, trying to add something extra to the build so soon might seem pointless, and take away the anticipation of when these two will stare one another in the face again.

Besides, for all we know, Brock's still in the slammer. Keep it kayfabe, folks.

Still, there was plenty of action on RAW for us to get our teeth into. A little too much action for John Cena, perhaps, who must wish he'd kept his nose out of Seth Rollins's business.

Here are the 10 Big Questions from last night's RAW.

10. How Will WWE Fill Four Hours Of SummerSlam?

As much as SummerSlam has traditionally been seen as 'the Wrestlemania of the summer', it hasn't lived up to that billing for a good while now. The rumours and chatter on the web this week suggested that WWE were looking to make SummerSlam into a four hour extravaganza, reports that were confirmed as truth by Triple H at the start of RAW.

Will WWE make that extra hour worthwhile? On one hand, the possibility of matches like Owens vs Cesaro being given sufficient time is a mouth-watering prospect, and it's a near certainty that the Divas Revolution will continue to be treated as a big deal.

What is of concern is how much of that added time will amount to filler. If Ryback hasn't recovered by then, does anyone really want to see The Miz vs Big Show again? Or, horror of horrors, will we have to sit through another impromptu concert featuring a not necessarily well-known 'recording artist'?

...on seconds thoughts, that sounds just like Wrestlemania. As you were.
