10 Biggest Rebels In WWE History

There's some you might call Degenerates...

The rebel always gets the girl; well, at least he should. The fact is that there's nothing cooler or more dangerous than a rebel, a guy that refuses to conform and fights against the system that seeks to hold him down. The idea of a lone voice defying an oppressive authority is one that has existed throughout time and it's one that continues to this day. This is especially true in the business of professional wrestling, an art form that has relied on such characters almost from the very beginning. While WWE is the world's biggest promotion and typically features every sort of character imaginable, it's usually the rebels that get the most exposure and are the most popular among fans. Those characters are the ones that seem to keep the company afloat and the fans interested. They provide drama where there is none, they keep it fresh when the product is stale and they get a stronger reaction than perhaps any other gimmick in the locker room. From Roddy Piper to CM Punk to Dean Ambrose, one Superstar after another has went against the norm and chosen to travel his own path. It's no mystery why these rebels always bring the house down and keep fans coming back for more. That will likely not change any time soon.
