10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (March 21)

A vicious Stephanie McMahon may just snap at a callous Roman Reigns on Raw...

It's not months away, it's barely even weeks away, and yet people are still talking about the need for WWE to excite people about WrestleMania 32. That's not good, because 'Mania should sell itself. In a sense it has, because recent reports estimate around 80,000 ticket sales for the event on April 3.

That's - clearly - a lot of bodies, but there's still that feeling in the back of some minds that the promotion haven't exactly been on fire in the lead up to the event. Come the actual pay-per-view, perhaps things will take care of themselves, but it'd be nice to have fans hyped up for the various matches beforehand.

Putting things another way, there's still some building to be done in the few episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown that remain. Roman Reigns returned to action on last week's episode, but events on Smackdown sullied that comeback a little. Hopefully, WWE can get on the right track on the next edition of Raw.

In other news, AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho hasn't been officially announced for 'Mania, but it's expected imminently. Jericho has been red hot recently, but what should he - along with everyone else - expect from the writing team come Monday?

10. Vince McMahon Puts No Contact Clause In Front Of The Undertaker And Shane

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon effectively shoved his own son into the clutches of The Undertaker. What followed was a massive Chokeslam, before 'Taker oddly neglected to attack Vince afterwards in the melee. This hints at some kind of hold from the boss over the wrestler.

That's just begging to be explored, but there should be no immediate rush to reveal why Undertaker isn't simply gunning for Vince. More candidly, why is he willing to do the dirty work of McMahon? There has to be a storyline reason, one which can perhaps be revealed post-WrestleMania.

Maybe that's a risk, because right now fans have more questions than answers. Come Raw, Vince could again appear in control of 'The Deadman', reminding him that Shane is still his son. 'Taker would then state that Vince put his own flesh and blood into this mess, and there's no way out of it.

Clearly rattled, Vince would then place a 'no contact' clause on both men, meaning they can't physically interact again until 'Mania. This would frustrate both, as well as the fans, but would hopefully spike some interest in finally seeing Shane and Undertaker let loose on April 3.
